Dr C James Hospedales
Founder/ Managing Director
A lover of nature, an accomplished public heath physician, a person of faith, a father, grandfather, gardener and woodworker, Dr Hospedales founded EarthMedic/Nurse to mobilise health professionals to urgently address the climate and health crisis. He chairs the Defeat-NCD partnership executive committee, addressing NCDs in low-resource countries. He was inaugural Executive Director of the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), leading the Agency to become a recognized player on the global health field, weathering several public health emergencies, developing an innovative Tourism and Health Partnership, and raising the alarm on the climate and health crisis. He was coordinator NCD prevention and control in PAHO/WHO. He is a graduate of UWI and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a fellow of the UK Faculty of Public Health, and an accredited partnership broker with the Partnering Institute of the UK. He has published more than 100 papers and reports

Dr Paula Henry
Director
Dr Paula Henry, an associate of EM&EN is a Family Physician, who graduated from the University of the West Indies Jamaica in 1980. She practiced as a GP until 2018. After completing a Climate Change and Health Certification course, Yale University in 2018, she entered the MPH program at UWI St Augustine where she graduated with distinction. Her primary research measured ambient air quality in different geographical locations in Trinidad, comparing values to the 2021 WHO guidelines. Her most recent research is mapping trends in incidence, mortality and distribution of cancers in Trinidad and Tobago looking for associations with environmental factors. A member of the Caribbean College of Family Physicians, World College of Family Doctors (WONCA), American Academy of Family Physicians and the Caribbean Planetary Health Regional Hub, she has an MBA and a diploma in Politics. She is passionate about collaborating, networking and finding solutions to the climate crisis.

Fayola Nicholas
Director
Fayola Nicholas is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago. Concurrently, she is finalising her Doctoral studies (DBA) at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France.
Experienced Leader and Marketing Strategist: Fayola brings over 20 years of marketing expertise to her current role. Previously, she held various executive positions at The UWI- Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, including Head of Marketing, Consulting, Alumni Relations, Advancement, Market
Development Centre, and Human Resources. Her prior experience includes leadership roles in marketing at Coca-Cola, Unilever Caribbean, and Carib
Brewery Ltd.
Academic and Industry Engagement: Fayola is an active contributor to both academia and industry. She serves as Adjunct Faculty for Undergraduate,
Postgraduate, and Executive Education Programmes at Lok Jack GSB. Additionally, she volunteers as a Marketing Associate with EarthMedic and contributes her expertise as an Ad Hoc Reviewer for the International Journal of Applied Management Theory and Research.
